Loan Scams to Avoid

There are now more and more people getting caught in loan scams and fake loan companies so it is now more important than ever to be extra cautious and make sure you are one hundred per cent confident and clear on all aspects before applying or agreeing to a loan deal. There are a few major rules you should always abide to if you want to avoid being stung by scammers.

Never pay any money up front to get hold of a loan as there are some lenders out there that will do no more than take the money you've paid up front and leave you out of pocket. It's important to remember that most lenders are genuine but it is always wise to be cautious and never giving away your money up front is a great way to start. If a deal or offer appears to be too good to be true then treat it as that and look into all the finer details.

It is also paramount to never give your bank details away to anyone that offers to give you a loan. A lot of the do's and don'ts may seem pretty self explanatory but it is a sad fact that people are still being duped into parting with their money and not receiving anything in return. Most payday loan lenders are legitimate which is important to remember however, but another thing that you should always do is research thoroughly.

Adequate and timely research is an invaluable tool and facility to tracking down the people that are out there to con you. Take the time to find if the person/company does exist and whether it has got a good enough reputation to satisfy your requirements. If anything does appear suspicious or if you are worried about your situation with regards to trusting your lender, you can report any wrongdoing on several sites that deal with that kind of thing. Payday loans are really popular and can really help people to get out of that sticky situation but it is now more vital than ever to check that you are getting your money from a recognised source.

Unfortunately the scammers are setting up UK phone numbers and putting them on a divert to India. The person in the UK feels safe because it is a UK phone number but it isn't. As soon as the loan victim has paid upfront for a loan, the scammers just change their numbers and start all over again. Their is a very general rule about all this, never pay for a loan upfront as it is always a scam.

It is surprising just how many loan scams are occurring at the minute. Also that the Government and Police don't seem to be bothered in trying to fix the problems and punish the offenders. On the other hand why on earth would you give money for a loan to people with Indian accents who ask you to send money to India? There is no excuse for such stupidity, why pay people upfront fees for a loan? Why on earth wouldn't they just take the fees out of the loan they are giving you? People need to take responsibility as well and look after there own cash better.
